Straight razor rehandle

Here is something a bit different from what I use to make! 

Two straight razor rehandles in Australian Mallee Burl with bone wedge and 2000 year old bog oak with brass wedge. The razor with Mallee Burl is a J.A.Hellberg and the Bog Oak is a Klas Tornrio. Both originally from Eskilstuna and late 19th century.

Scandinavian tarsoly

Here is a recently finished Scandinavian tarsoly heading oversees all the way to a gentleman in Australia.

Tarsoly based on Röstaväskan from Jämtland. Hand sewn in vegetable-tanned, full grain leather from Malung with waxed linen thread. Cast bronze mounts with brass rivets.

Viking knife

Just put the finishing touches on this knife for a Swedish gent! 

Bog oak handle with brass bolsters, draw ring and wire wrap. Full flat grind blade from Aage Frederiksen with a thick spine. Beeswax treated leather sheath with brass fittings. Some simple line patterns cut in the leather to give some variation. Single suspension loop.

Red viking knife

Just got this off the work bench.

Bog oak handle with brass bolster and wire wrap. Full flat grind carbon steel blade from Aage Frederiksen. Gotland style scabbard with brass fittings. Leather is dyed red and treated with beeswax.

Gotland style viking knife

Finally done with this viking knife for a customer!

Cherry handle with brass bolsters and wire wrap. 150 mm pattern welded blade in 15N20/1060, shaving sharp. Gotland style scabbard with brass mounts covered leather sheath. Two suspension points.
