Fibula knife

Small women knife with hot waxed leather sheath with brass mounts. Step shaped filing with tinned copper underlay, brass rivets and bolsters. Fantastic pattern welded blade from the very talented George Ezell. The handle is a piece of 300 year old curly birch I've saved for a special project. The leather for the sheath is elk and vegetable-tanned by hand from a student at Bäckedals folkhögskola and later treated with hot beeswax.

Brass fittings and two point brass spiral suspension made for a belt divider. Step shaped file work with tinned copper inlay. Pattern welded blade from bladesmith Karlo Ban in Croatia.
